Vest Inspection

Certified inspection of inflatable life jackets

Service specializing in rescue equipment

The reliability of an inflatable life jacket is crucial in emergency situations at sea. To ensure it functions properly, we conduct certified technical inspections to verify that every component is in perfect working order. From the integrity of the air bladder to the automatic, manual, or hydrostatic inflation systems, every detail is rigorously checked to ensure peak performance when it matters most.

What do we include in the technical review?

Air Leak Test (24 Hours) - The inner tube is mechanically inflated and monitored for 24 hours. This test is the only way to detect micro-punctures that would cause the tube to lose buoyancy within minutes after an accident.

Deployment System Inspection (Cartridge and Trigger) - We check the automatic mechanism (Halkey Roberts or Hammar type). Salt tablets or pressure sensors have expiration dates and can degrade due to environmental humidity. We replace these components whenever necessary to prevent accidental deployment or, worse, failure to deploy.

CO₂ Cylinder Inspection and Weighing - Each gas cylinder is removed, inspected for signs of corrosion, and weighed on a precision scale.

Inspection of Straps, Buckles, and Lights - We check the integrity of the strap seams, the functionality of the steel/plastic buckles, and the serviceability of the emergency lights and batteries (if equipped).

Confidence with every trip out to sea

When requesting the service, please let us know the number of life jackets and, if possible, their brands and models. Please also let us know if the life jackets have any additional features, such as emergency lights, integrated harnesses, or radio location systems (AIS/PLB). Life jackets must be returned properly folded, sealed, and with an up-to-date inspection record.
